The Arizona College of Nursing is expanding into its 12th state, Wisconsin, but only some welcome it. Despite plans to open a campus in Milwaukee and Madison over the next two years, several Wisconsin groups are concerned about the programβs quality. Despite its accreditations, the college had a national completion rate of 65%, below the 70% required for one of its accreditations. The concerns echo the problems plaguing other for-profit nursing programs.

Unlimited Testing Attempts |
The saga of the fake nurse-licensing scheme that a year ago continues with a new revelation: many students who graduated from the scam program were explicitly encouraged to take their nursing exams in the states that allow unlimited testing attempts. The news came as another nurse in Iowa lost her license in the βdiploma-mill scandalβ for receiving a degree despite never completing program requirements or clinical training. So far, 20 people have been convicted for their roles in the scam.

Yet many of those patients never heard what the FDA learned and warned four years ago: that the drug can cause βaggression, agitation and even suicidal thoughts,β especially in children, the New York TimesΒ Β reports.
