AirPod Hearing Aids |
Why buy your run-of-the-mill OTC hearing aid when you can get one that also plays music and allows you to take calls? Thatβs Appleβs bid with its AirPods Pro 2, which will soon include a software-based built-in hearing aid feature for people with mild to moderate hearing loss. After users take a hearing test on an iPhone or iPad, the earbuds will adjust sound levels in real time to help them engage in conversations and stay connected while also reducing loud sounds.

Kaiser to Close Its Last Nursing Home |
Kaiser Permanente is closing its last nursing home in California by mid-November, resulting in 249 job losses for certified nursing assistants, licensed vocational nurses, administrators, and more. The San Leandro facility was ranked among the stateβs top nursing homes in 2018β2019 but has been experiencing a steady decline in patients for more than a decade. Patients will be moved to home care or community facilities, and Kaiser is offering affected employees job search support and the option to apply for other roles within the company.
