Indiana Woman Indicted for Fraud and Using Stolen LPN License

Rochelle Perry, a 49-year-old woman in Indianapolis, has been charged with five counts of fraud and identity theft after stealing an LPN license and a social security number to apply for positions at five nursing homes—three of which she got and worked at. New Menopause Society Guidelines on Non-Hormone Therapy

The North American Menopause Society (NAMS) has published an updated 2023 position statement on non-hormone therapy for women experiencing hot flashes and related symptoms. The recommendations include cognitive-behavioral therapy, clinical hypnosis, weight loss, SSRIs/SNRIs, gabapentin, stellate ganglion blockade, oxybutynin, and several
other therapies, including the newly approved medication fezolinetant, the first drug of its kind to treat hot flashes without hormones.
