Getting Nurses Out of Debt STAT |
American households are accumulating more debt than ever, and nurses are no exception. Would you like to pay
off your debts as soon as possible? If so, getting rid of debt STAT can be accomplished with two different approaches. The debt snowball or the debt avalanche.
Snowball Method: list the total for each debt owed and then pay them off from smallest to largest.
Avalanche Method: list all your debts from largest to smallest interest rate, then pay them off in order - starting with the largest.
It's important not to get hung up on the idea that there is a right or wrong way you should be paying off debt. Ultimately, your chosen method is a matter of perspective and circumstance, and what works for you may not work for others.
