We now know the cause of death of the trailblazing nurse Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson: medical negligence. According to Johnson’s longtime friend and attorney, the esteemed U.S. Representative died of an infection that developed after being left in her own feces and urine at a Dallas rehabilitation facility following back surgery. Johnson called her son after receiving no response from the nurse call button, and he arrived at her room 10 minutes later to find her unattended and screaming out in pain. She ultimately succumbed to complications despite a surgeon repairing the infected wound.

The technique uses AI to analyze sweat through mass spectrometry, with different levels of protein expression revealing health status, from
benign tumors to metastasized cancer. However, researchers stress the ongoing importance of traditional methods like mammograms and biopsies.

Eagle Pass, Texas, grapples with a daily influx of up to 5,000 migrants amid a surge at the southern border, and many of these travelers require urgent medical attention. Though the city struggles to care for its own residents, it has assigned one of its five ambulances to transport injured migrants from the border full-time. Much blame is being placed on Governor Abbott's border security measures, which include barbed wire (installed over objects from federal authorities) that have exacerbated the medical emergencies.
