Organ Donation Horror Story |
In October 2021, organ donor TJ Hoover experienced a real life horror story. Hoover, declared dead, was being wheeled in a hospital OR when the organ preservationist saw signs of life, including thrashing movements and tears. Two doctors refused to proceed, and the procedure was eventually canceled. A review of case notes found Hoover also showed signs of life during a
cardiac catheterization procedure earlier in the day. The incident led to staff resignations and federal investigations.

So, why don’t they want you to live in California? It could be due to California residents needing higher salaries to meet the cost of living, strict labor laws and taxes that remote out-of-state employers must comply with, and potential time zone discrepancies with the company.
