Save Our Hospitals |
When Steward Health Care filed for bankruptcy on May 6, it caused a chain reaction of crises that hospitals across the country are struggling to manage. That includes Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital and Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Ohio, and the Ohio Nurses
Association is worried that Gov. Mike DeWine has no intentions of helping stem the damage. The nurses sent a βSave Our Hospitalsβ letter to the governor demanding they take stepsβas other state governors haveβto help.

TECH TUESDAYΒ WITH NURSE MANNY
|
Help for Home Health |
As an emergency department nurse who knows little about home health, Iβve always admired the resiliency of home health nurses who manage complex patient needs with limited support. Recently, I came across Vivid Health, a company thatβs leveraging AI to reduce the time spent on home health documentation, thereby increasing capacity for patient care. By automating the majority of
OASIS form completion, Vivid Health frees up nurses to engage more deeply with patients, understanding their unique needs in a way that truly matters. This could be a game-changer for those in home health.
