Nurse Couple Saves Man Possibly Suffering from Hypoxia Aboard Plane

A passenger on Southwest Flight 553 was having a medical emergency when flight attendants asked medical professionals to come to the front of the aircraft. Both nurses, Emily Raines, and Daniel Shifflett, were taken to a man slumped over his seat with a blueish-purple coloration and no pulse. A flight attendant was erroneously attempting chest compressions on the unconscious passenger while he was seated. The couple saved the man using an oropharyngeal airway and bag valve mask.Β

at-home HIV tests to US residents who are 17 years or older in all states plus Puerto Rico. In addition, Grindr implemented a designated button in a side menu for users to quickly and easily order at-home HIV test kits for free.Β

Nurse Under Investigation for Death of Migrant Girl

Eight-year-old Anadith Tanay Reyes Alvarez, who suffered from sickle cell anemia and heart disease, died in US Border Patrol custody in Texas last month. She and her family were detained for over a week in Border Control custody, much longer than the agencyβs 3-day detention rule. In addition, federal investigators found that medical contractors saw the girl nine times over three days (four times on the day she died), but a nurse practitioner declined to transfer her to the hospital each time.Β
