Super Bowl Ad Draws Controversy

We’ve seen controversial Super Bowl ads before. Usually, they’re flagged for sexual or political content, but one of this year’s ads is drawing fire (including from lawmakers) for a different reasonβ€”leaving out side effect information. On Sunday, the telehealth company Hims & Hers ran an ad promoting compounded versions of the obesity drug semaglutide while criticizing the profit motives of the pharmaceutical industry, which is required to list the drug side effects that Hims & Hers left out.

New Law Supports Re-Entry HealthcareΒ

When people have been released from prison after serving their sentence, the experience of re-entry can be challenging and traumatic. Inadequate access to health careβ€”especially mental health careβ€”can make the process of re-integrating into society more difficult, even with the programs that exist to help. But a new federal law aims to improve the re-entry experience for released juvenile inmates. Check out the details.

Do Hospitals Need Healthier Food?

That’s the question posed by Linda Laskowski-Jones, APRN, the editor-in-chief of Nursing2025, in a new editorial. Research shows the healthiness of hospital food varies greatly. Some hospitals even have fast-food restaurants! But all hospitals could make improvements. What are the food options like where you work?
