nation’s opioid crisis by prescribing too many pain pills over a decade ago. So now she’s working to undo that damage after founding the Recovery Mobile Clinic. With the help of nearly four dozen partner organizations statewide, a fleet of traveling RVs allows mobile medical teams to offer medical and social services, including vaccines, testing, and medication-assisted treatment, wherever patients with addiction are.
