Barbie Girl in a Telehealth World |
Need help to connect with young patients? Let Barbie do the talking. Michigan Medicine physicians at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital have creatively incorporated Barbie dolls into their telehealth visits to assist pediatric rehabilitation patients. The dolls, equipped with wheelchairs and flexible joints, serve as visual aids to demonstrate
movement during virtual appointments. A recent study found that patients in Barbie-aided visits required less verbal instruction, and the dolls helped them better understand their physicians.Β

vaccine safety despite evidence proving the safety of the rabies vaccine. Many states require dogs and cats to be vaccinated against rabies, but do you know which is the only state free of the disease?Β
