Good Morning, Readers! |
The word βresiliencyβ has been a buzz word in nursing for a long time. And while I could probably give my own TED Talk about my feelings on the term, Iβd like to hear from you:
What are your thoughts on resiliency in nursing? From your experience, does resiliency training actually work or is it just a bandaid for the real issues in
healthcare?
Let me know here.

Program. Those qualified to read these x-rays, called B readers, currently include only 184 physicians in 35 states, but the CDC is considering expanding access to the B Reader training to NPs and PAs, given the anticipated shortage in U.S. physicians.

Misleading Sales of GLP-1 Drugs |
The FDA has allowed sales of compounded semaglutide and tirzepatideβthe active ingredients of GLP-1 drugs Ozempic/Wegovy and Mounjaro/Zepboundβwhile those drugs had shortages. But compounded versions still arenβt FDA-approved, something more than a third of sellers implied anyway, according to a recent study. Worse, nearly half of online retailers of these compounded drugs didnβt provide information on side effects, warnings, or contraindications, and four in 10 made effectiveness claims that lack evidence.
